Maureen Scafuri
Maureen Scafuri Style Extraordinaire and owner of Brush Salon. Over thirteen years of experience in color and cutting has earned Maureen Scafuri an accomplished reputation as one of Orange County's premier stylists. Educated at the international icon of hair, Toni & Guy North America, Maureen has worked with numerous top stylists and salons. After her 2001 graduation, she launched her career by establishing a strong clientele and art to precision cutting and coloring.
Maureen is recognized as one of Orange County's most esteemed stylists. With such talents and creative vision, opening her own salon was the next step. Maureen's expert technique and understanding of clients' needs is Brush's spectacular example of success.

Marie Sears
Stylist / Make-Up / Hair Extension Specialist Through her passion, skills, and attention to detail, Marie takes great care when listening to her client's wants and needs, ensuring that they leave looking and feeling their best. Marie specializes in color and cutting as well as updo styles and makeup for special events. Marie is Master Certified in Hair Extensions, trained to do several different application techniques specific to fit the client's hair type and lifestyle. Marie herself struggled for years with fine hair until she added hair extensions to fill in her areas that are especially fine. She points out that hair extensions aren't just for the younger crowd who want to add length but can be a confidence boost for someone, young or old struggling with fine or thinning hair. She is also trained and certified in Eyelash Extensions as well as being trained and certified in the Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment. Marie loves being creative and is dedicated to continuous education.
Briana Pender
Stylist Briana has been pursuing her passion for hairstyling for over 10 years. Initial instruction began at Golden West Cosmetology from there she continued her education with the extensive training of Toni and Guy. With this multitude of experiences, she has acquired the fundamentals of cut and color as well as numerous advanced techniques. She has also obtained ample experience with up-styling while working on location for artistic photoshoots, fashion shows, weddings, and special events. Briana enjoys the creativity the industry allows
Gia Almassi
Stylist After graduating from Paul Mitchell, The School in 2005, Gia continued her education through Toni & Guy, where she studied through their intensive cut and color programs. This blend of training from the top schools in the nation ensured that she received a cutting-edge industry education and allows her to adapt to a variety of client needs with the utmost precision and quality.
In addition to her skills as a hairdresser and colorist, she is also certified in the Keratin Complex smoothing treatment, Brazilian Blowout, and Yuko straightening and is particularly talented when working with thick or curly hair. Gia has a strong passion for fashion and beauty and strives to always stay current in the latest trends and techniques. She enjoys the innovative outlet that creative color provides and also specializes in Balayage on all hair types and textures!
Michelle McQueen
Michelle McQueen is passionate about delivering an exceptional cut and color experience by taking the time and care to actively listen to a client’s wants and needs and doing a thorough consultation. Clients benefit from Michelle’s 20 years of salon experience combined with a broad base of cut and coloring education that includes hundreds of hours in training with industry-leading brands Toni & Guy, TiGi, Kerastase, and L’Oreal.
Dallice Mensik
Dallice is our in house Color Educator, providing continued education to our future Brush Stylists currently apart of our assistant program. A Toni & Guy Hair Dressing Academy graduate, her education is grounded in a foundation of creating healthy hair that allows the inner beauty of each of her valued clients to truly shine. A strong passion for education ensures an ever growing arsenal in her skill set to take on all creative avenues within the salon. As a stylist, Dallice specializes in lived in colors as well as precision hair cutting. Teaching doesn’t end with her Educator role here at Brush, but also extends to her clients to ensure they are always in the know of helpful tips and tricks to keep their hair healthy and polished at home as well.
Jennifer Ramos
Born and raised in Orange County California, Jenn Ramos has always had a passion for creativity. With a keen fashion sense and an eye for originality, she loves versatility and isn’t afraid to work hard to achieve what’s best for the client. Jenn specializes in Blonding, Color, Brazilian Blowouts, and keratin treatments. She also is trained to do professional makeup. Her passion for makeup started as a young girl, however, in 2016 she began to work alongside makeup companies like Stila Cosmetics.
Danielle Strohm
Stylist Danielle is a dual-licensed stylist in cosmetology and barbering. After receiving formal training with Bellus Academy, she actively pursued advanced training in Toni and Guy techniques for cutting and color. She stays up to date by continuing her education with classes routinely and closely following the latest trends. Danielle has been able to participate in Fashion Week San Diego and mentored by top stylists in brands such as L’Oréal, Toni and Guy, Wella, and Nioxin. Her attention to detail and ability to listen to her client’s needs gives each session a personalized and valued experience. Danielle specializes in Barbering but has a creative passion for customized hair color and blonding techniques.
Lacey Marie
Lacey has had a passion for hair since she was young. She received her training at Toni & Guy Hairdressing Academy where she went through their acclaimed cut and coloring programs. She has been a hairstylist at multiple fashion shows and stays current with trends and new techniques by frequently attending training seminars by industry experts. She enjoys all aspects of hairstyling and takes pride in providing an exceptional experience for her clients.
Dayana Tomayo
Day is our resident extension specialist. She holds a true passion in creating the long, thick beautiful hair of every woman’s dreams. Her attention to detail ensures comfortable wear, and healthier hair with our hand tied wefts. As a colorist she exudes talent in creating bright beautiful blondes, creating the perfect SoCal sun kissed beachy vibe. Alongside her blonding talents, she is also exceptional at creating the richest, deepest brunette tones as well. Those who sit in her chair are ensured to be charmed by her calming, warm, and welcoming energy. Healthy hair, and personable connection with her clients are aspects of her professional life in which she most prides herself on.
Allex Raines
Allex is Brush Salon’s curl specialist, she has an unquestionable eye for detail. Allowing her to create alluring , flowing shapes in the precious needed for curly haircuts. Allex’s apparent eye for the tiniest of details means she creates the most healthy, glowing, dazzling, blonde any Orange County woman would be delighted to confidently wear. Because of her notable attention to detail, Allex also excels with intricate short hair cuts. A true passionate artist through and through. Those who sit in Allex’s chair will feel relaxed, welcomed and heard. A phenomenal communicator, she ensures every client is heard in consultations.
Michaela Sitzman
Stylist Michaela has always had a passion and empathy for people. She initially started her education at Concordia University Irvine as a Psychology major and graduated in 2012. Shortly after, she decided to pursue her other passion, hair, and makeup. She received her cosmetology license at Paul Mitchell The School Costa Mesa. Specializing in color, cut, and makeup, she loves to transform her clients into their most confident selves. She always puts her clients first and truly values their relationship. Michaela has a passion for learning new techniques and is constantly pursuing further education in the beauty industry.

Maddie Zanze
Stylist, Maddie has been dedicated to her passion for the hair industry ever since graduating from cosmetology school in 2015. Maddie was also extensively trained in LA at the MUD academy for makeup and hair styling by top high-profile Hollywood artists. She has worked on location for fashion shows, weddings, and short films, as well as a Makeup-Artist/Wig Stylist at Universal Studios Hollywood. Her creativity and attention to detail have led her to specialize in customized color, cuts, and makeup services. She loves connecting with her clients and providing a comfortable and enjoyable experience every time, leaving her clients feeling confident and beautiful!
